  • Guided walking tour of Nuremberg Old Town. Highlights include the Imperial Castle, Hauptmarkt, St. Sebaldus Church, and the old city walls. Covers Nuremberg’s historical role as a trade and cultural center.
  • Visit to the Historic Art Bunker (Historische Kunstbunker). A network of underground air-raid shelters used to protect valuable artworks during WWII.
  • Guided tour offering insight into wartime cultural preservation and Nuremberg’s hidden infrastructure

  • Visit to the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds - Guided educational program focused on Nazi propaganda, architecture, and its historical consequences.
  • Walking tour of the grounds, including the Congress Hall and Zeppelin Field

  • Dinner in a local restaurant or a hotel
  • Optional: Reflection discussion of the day with the teacher (20–30 minutes)

SStudents explore one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval towns, gaining insight into everyday life, justice, and traditions of the Middle Ages. Through interactive learning and creative expression, they deepen their understanding of history while engaging with the city's unique atmosphere.

  • Guided walking tour of Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Explore the medieval old town, towers, town wall, and main square. Hear local legends and insights into Rothenburg’s role in German history
  • Visit to the Medieval Crime Museum - Interactive and visual exhibits on medieval justice, punishment, and public order. Discussion opportunities around morality, power, and social norms

Afternoon:

  • Student Street Theatre Activity – “Life in Medieval Rothenburg” - Students are divided into teams and receive historical prompts. 1 hour for preparation (script, roles, and rehearsal). Each team performs a 3–5 minute scene using the city as their stage.

  • Street Art Walking Tour - Guided tour in neighborhoods like Kreuzberg or Friedrichshain. Explore murals, graffiti, artist collectives, and political expression. Discussion on the role of art in public space and youth culture
  • Visit to Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart (Contemporary Art) - Housed in a former railway station. Works by major 20th and 21st-century artists Great contrast between industrial space and modern creativity

  • Berlin Wall & Cold War Bike Tour - Guided cycling tour along key Cold War sites (Berlin Wall Memorial, East Side Gallery, Checkpoint Charlie). Blends historical storytelling with active exploration
